Amasya Kalesi'nin İngilizce tanıtımı şu şekilde yapılabilir: "Amasya Castle, also known as Harşena Castle, is a massive structure built on high cliffs in the northern part of Amasya. It has hosted many civilizations over thousands of years, from the Hittites to the Romans, and from the Seljuks to the Ottomans. The castle consists of three interconnected sections: the Upper Castle, the Kızlar Sarayı, and the Lower Castle where Hatuniye Mahallesi is located. One of its most fascinating features is the Cilanbolu corridor, which contains 150 steps carved directly into the rock. The castle also includes dungeons, cisterns, wells, and monumental rock-tombs carved into the cliffs. Several steep stair-tunnels descend from exterior portals on the fortress hillsides to reach the enclosed wells, cisterns, and tombs below. Some historians claim that the castle was built by the Pontic King Mithridates, while others say it takes its name from the commander Harsana. Today, Amasya Castle is being prepared for inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage List."
